John Henniker-Gotley - Managing
Director
John co-founded Port@l to provide a unique
solution to infrastructure capacity problems. Frustrated with
the inherent shortcomings of in-house and outsourced models,
John has been instrumental in establishing the hosted contact
centre business model in the UK . From his international experience
with Sitel, he has led Port@l to its No1
position in this market. The Company now operates 1,500+ workstations
in prime locations around the UK and hosting has become a
'must have' component of call centre delivery for businesses
seeking adaptive models.
Carlton Hide, Director - Client
Relationships
Carlton graduated from Cambridge , with a degree in Engineering
in 1985. He then spent 12 successful years as an Officer in
the Royal Navy, gaining his MA in Engineering and seeing active
service in both the Falklands and the Middle East. After leaving
the Navy he became Regional General Manager at a publishing
company before entering the call centre market in 1997 with
Sitel.
At Sitel Carlton specialised in developing their Public Sector
expertise before taking a wider brief and greater responsibilities
for business development. After 3 years he left to take a
role as Sales & Marketing Director in a City based company
specialising in shareholder communications, successfully breaking
them into the Financial Services sector before the opportunity
arose to join Port@l in 2001. The innovation,
expertise, and quality of Port@l's individuals
and their ability to work together as a client focused team
made an extremely compelling argument; one that still persists
to this day.
Carlton joined as Sales Director for Port@l's
hosting proposition before being invited to take responsibility
for marketing too. Today he has responsibility for business
development across Port@l's entire portfolio
of solutions including build-to-order, hosting, Home Sourcing
and Operate & Transfer models.
Carlton, who is also a member of CoreNet, adopts an open, consultative and relationship-based
approach with clients and can be reached on +44 (0)7810 556684.
