John Henniker-Gotley - Managing Director

John co-founded Port@l to provide a unique solution to infrastructure capacity problems. Frustrated with the inherent shortcomings of in-house and outsourced models, John has been instrumental in launching Port@l's unique 'Occupier Solutions' business model in the UK . From his international experience with Sitel, he has led Port@l to its No1 position in this market. The Company now operates 2,500+ workstations in prime locations around the UK and Occupier Solutions has become a 'must have' component of accommodation delivery for businesses seeking to align their property strategy with the dynamic needs of their business.

Carlton graduated from Cambridge , with a degree in Engineering in 1985. He then spent 12 successful years as an Officer in the Royal Navy, gaining his MA in Engineering and seeing active service in both the Falklands and the Middle East. After leaving the Navy he became Regional General Manager at a publishing company before entering the call centre market in 1997 with Sitel.
